Our four recently renovated barn cottages enjoy spectacular south facing views and can accommodate 18 people + in total. Includes the use of a 37ft indoor heated, salt water chlorinated, swimming pool heated to 32 degrees centigrade also games room with pool table, table football and table tennis. Perfectly located, equidistant between Bakewell and Buxton, away from main roads, with extensive views over the surrounding countryside.
Badger's Wood is the largest cottage comprising of 1 double bedroom with en-suite shower room, 1 twin bedroom with en-suite shower room and bunk bed room with separate bathroom. A spiral staircase leads up into spacious lounge and dining room with lofted beamed ceilings and enjoying the stunning views to the front. A separate fully equipped kitchen with breakfasting table and chairs, large fridge, microwave and dishwasher and granite worktops. All the cottages are fitted with unique and extremely effective large cast iron radiators which keep all areas warm and snug even on the coldest winters day.
Robin's Nest is our second cottage, situated immediately next door to Badger's Wood and has the same style of upside down accommodation with spiral staircase. This cottage has 1 double bedroom with en-suite full size bath, a twin bedroom with en-suite shower room. The living area upstairs is huge and completely open plan with fully fitted kitchen, a large comfortable lounge to the front and a spacious dining area , complete with beamed ceilings. This cottage also benefits from its own dishwasher and tv,dvd,video player.
The Chicken Coop is our smallest cottage situated next door to Robin's Nest. This cottage offers more intimate accommodation, one bedroom with kingsize bed, separate bathroom with full size bath. The kitchen and lounge form a single living space with a mezzanine lounge/occasional bedroom area overlooking, accessed by an alternate step staircase/ladder.
The Swift's Retreat our first floor apartment style cottage is modern, light and airy enjoying own private balcony. Large open plan living room, including fully fitted kitchen. One double bedroom, one bunkbed room, both with woodland views and one bathroom.
The swimming pool is modern and warm within easy reach of the cottages and includes changing and shower facilities and laundry area - washing machines and dryer available to all four cottages.
