Set in its own peaceful valley in the Peak National Park, Roystone Grange is comprised of two Grade 2 listed properties, adjoining the owner's home.
Popular for self catering holidays in the Peak District, Derbyshire. Roystone Grange accommodates groups of up to 12 people.
Dogs and pets are welcome by prior arrangement.
Roystone Grange is centrally located to enjoy the attractions of the Peak National Park. It lies in-between Buxton, Ashbourne, Matlock and Bakewell. We are located mid way between the scenic Dales towns of Ashbourne and Bakewell, 4 miles East of Dovedale and between the hamlets of Pikehall and Ballidon shown on National Road atlases.

This outstanding Grade Two listed building is located in a quiet and secluded valley steeped in history and archeological interest.

One enters the house, with its mullioned windows, from the lawned garden to the front of the house, into a small entrance hall - to your right is the very spacious and fully equipped beamed kitchen/dining room. To your left is the lounge of similar size and views with welcoming wood burning stove in its imposing inset fireplace. There is also a cloakroom, utility room and boot room on the ground floor.
The central stairs lead to the first floor, the main bedroom to the left, with its charming antique kingsize bed is very spacious and has occasional seating. The bedroom has an en suite bathroom with bath and shower, basin and toilet. Also on the same floor the second bedroom, with kingsize antique bed, ensuite shower room with toilet and basin.
There are two bedrooms on the top floor, one with 5ft double bed and a single bed : the other with twin beds that can also be joined together to make a 6 ft double on request. The two rooms share a bathroom.

The Old Farmhouse - sleeps 4
One enters the Old Farmhouse through the well equipped kitchen with flagged floor. This leads through to the large lounge/dining room off which there is a quiet study/reading area.

The stairs go to the two bedrooms, one bedroom has two single beds which can be made up as a double bed on request. The main bedroom has a splendid and imposing four poster bed with some occasional seating. The bathroom consists of bath with shower over, hand basin and toilet.
Spacious grounds and countryside can be enjoyed as advised by the owners on your arrival.

It is possible for 12 people to dine in the Grange when both The Old Farmhouse and The Grange are booked together as they are co-joined.
When both properties are booked together a returnable bond of £100 will be taken for all bookings
