Welcome to Lawson Lodge, the perfect place for your self catering holiday in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Tideswell is a historic village in the stunning Peak District, referred to as the 'cathedral of the peak' because of the impressive 13th century church.
Lawson Lodge offers small but perfectly formed accommodation, ideal for a romantic break for two. Located at the heart of Tideswell, situated conveniently close to all local amenities.
The open plan, one level accommodation is modern (recently refurbished), light and airy. Complete with thermostat controlled Gas Central heating, handy if you are taking a break in the bleaker months. After a short climb of stone steps you will enter the Lodge.
The Dining Kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary items for your stay, an electric oven, gas hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, solid beech worktops and a feature limestone wall.
The adjoining lounge is cozy with a large settee, wool carpet, armchair, coffee table, skylights and a Sony 26" TV with freesat channels.
Through to the bedroom. Wool carpet, double bed complete with crisp white bed linen, pine cupboard, clothes hanger, hair dryer and storage space.
Finally into the bathroom, again modern. Comprising basin, bath, shower over bath, WC, shaver adapter and not forgetting the white cotton towels.
In addition we are also able to offer secure storage for Bikes, Canoes etc. Please just ask.
The accommodation was only opened in July 2009 and has been furnished to the highest of standards.
