Description Self-catered holiday cottage for rent in the beautiful Peak District National Park. Sleeps 4-6 guests, fantastic location for walking and trails. Lion Cottage is a lovely 18th century semi detached cottage. It has been recently refurbished to a high standard while maintaining many original features, such as open fires, oak-beamed ceilings and exposed stonework. The cottage now also has free Wi-Fi access for guests.   Lion Cottage can be found in the centre of Birchover, within the Peak District National Park. The village has two pubs (both serving excellent food), a village shop, a public telephone and children’s play park.   The cottage is ideally situated for exploring the Peak District on foot, by road bicycle, mountain bike or by car, and is surrounded by public footpaths in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
