Welcome to Printer's Holiday Cottage, Tideswell
Printer's Cottage is a warm and homely 18th Century self-catering holiday cottage Situated in the centre of the historic village of Tideswell, with all the village's amenities located within a minute or two's walk.
Recently renovated and furnished to a high standard, Printer's Cottage is perfectly situated for enjoying the breath-taking scenery, fun filled adrenaline fuelled outdoor activities, bustling market towns, vibrant cities, historic properties, World Heritage sites and the many other attractions and locations that the area has to offer.
It provides everything you'll need for recuperating after a hard day adventuring in the great outdoors, or for simply relaxing with your feet up in front of a roaring log fire.
Spacious and stylish, the centrally heated cottage opens into an attractive duel-aspect living room, with York Stone floor, exposed ceiling beams, original and re-modelled fireplace housing a real open fire, leather sofas and cushioned window seat. For entertainment there is a Widescreen HD LCD TV with FreeSat, DVD recorder, Stereo system, Sony PlayStation 2 and a selection of board games, playing cards, Ordnance Survey maps and local walking & mountain biking trail books.
The modern kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and automatic washer/dryer. Here you will also find a storage area housing a fold-away dining table and chair set. When not being used as a dining area this area can be used to stack around 7 bikes and any dirty gear you may have.
At the top of the original staircase is the WC and shower room, housing a large powerful shower fed by combination boiler to assist with your adventure-induced recuperation needs.
Also upstairs are the cottage's two bedrooms, accommodating up to 7 guests:
Bedroom1 - A very spacious room with a double bed, single bed, and bunk bed
Bedroom 2 - A smaller bedroom with a double bed
Weekly prices vary from £225 - £435 depending on week, and short breaks of 3 or 4 nights are available in off-peak weeks.
Linen and towels are provided for all guests, and gas central heating, power, and an initial supply of wood for the open fire are included in the prices.
On-street parking is available opposite the cottage and throughout the village, and in the free market square car park less than two minute's walk away.
Smoking is not permitted. Access for people with disabilities may be difficult due to the steep stairs.
Dogs are most welcome at Printer's Cottage, and may be accompanied by well behaved owners, however please keep dogs downstairs.
