Description
Rose Cottage is a charming yet unusual traditional mid terrace stone cottage with parts dating back to the 17th Century, full of character, yet with a modern fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is parking on the small lane close to the house.

The cottage is situated in the centre of the pretty little village of Over Haddon, which perches on the edge of a hilltop overlooking the beautiful Lathkill Dale.

This is the heart of the Peak District, surrounded by panoramic views of the wonderful Derbyshire Dales with miles of footpaths, as well as lots of cycling trails nearby.

Within the village itself is a friendly pub serving food. Two miles from Over Haddon is the very popular market town of Bakewell.

The accommodation comprises of a living room with log burning stove in a traditional stone fireplace, exposed beams and an attractive window seat. Five steps lead up to the kitchen, a utility area leads out onto an enclosed patio area, in the far corner by the rear gate is a secure laundry room which is large enough to house bikes and other equipment.
 
The cottage is unusual in that it has two completely separate bedrooms, each with their own separate staircases and bathrooms. The double room is in the older part of the cottage and has a window seat and an adjacent modern bathroom.

The twin bedded room is modern with sloping ceilings and has a shower room and toilet.
