Self Catering Holiday Cottages In Leek

The ancient market town of Leek stays close to its rural heritage and remains a pretty place in which to stay or simply visit and take in the sights.  A craggy outcrop of rocks known as the Roaches, lying just four miles north of Leek on the southern Pennines offers fantastic views, walks and climbing. Close by to Leek is Biddulph Grange with its unusual Victorian gardens, restored by the National Trust including a Chinese Temple, Egyptian Court, Dahlia walk and a Scottish glen. Leek’s most famous attraction is without doubt the nearby family theme park of Alton Towers, which has some of the most famous rides in Europe and is set in the beautiful gardens of a former stately home. Staying in one of Leek’s self catering holiday cottages is the ideal way to find the perfect place from which to explore Leek, the Peak District and Staffordshire moorlands.
