Description
Shatton Hall Farm
is superbly set at the head of a wooded valley in the heart of the Peak District. Farm trails, a trout lake a hard tennis court and extensive gardens which we open for the National Garden Scheme, all to be enjoyed by our visitors, who can also relax on their own terrace or cottage garden.
We converted stone barns into 3 comfortable cottages, all rated 4 Star:
open plan living rooms, furnished in old pine with well equipped kitchens, new bathrooms with showers, double and twin bedrooms in each. Extra folding bed, cot and high chair are available.
The Hayloft and Orchard Cottages
are next door to each other and are convenient to let together for a group of 8 people, who can eat and meet together in the spacious Hayloft living area.
Orchard Cottage
is recommended for families with toddlers, with its traditional layout.
Paddock Cottage
a little way across the farmyard has a wood burning stove: a well behaved dog is accepted. Just 3 steps from living room to main bedroom, so is ideal for people who find stairs difficult.
