Description Whim Farm Cottages are sympathetically converted from a former farm building and are located approximately 1 mile out of the village down a private hard surfaced lane.  This makes a peaceful hideaway where children are quite safe to roam and explore. Excellent cycling on the Tissington and High Peak  Trails, ½ mile away.  Fantastic walks from the doorstep.  Lathkill Dale, Monsal Trail, Dovedale, etc are all close.  Buxton Spa town with its Opera house is 6 miles away, Bakewell 7.  Chatsworth house, Alton Towers, Haddon Hall, Poole Cavern and Go Ape course nearby. Three country pubs within about a mile, one which can be walked to over the fields. If both cottages are booked together, all occupants can eat together in End Shippon Cottage open plan dining/lounge.
